The Polo participated in the Consensus Conference on Specific Learning Disorders and contributed to drafting the National Guidelines on the Management of Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), as well as the white paper The Management of SLD from Law 170/2010 to the ISS 2022 Guidelines (A.A.V.V., 2023).
The guidelines contain clinical recommendations aimed at ensuring the highest level of appropriateness in interventions. It is internationally recognized that they have a significant impact on the quality of diagnosis and intervention.
The Polo represents the University in the GLIR (Regional Interinstitutional Working Group), a body that provides advice and proposals to the Regional School Office on school inclusion, social and educational interventions, program agreements, and service organization. It also supports the Territorial Inclusion Groups (GIT) and school networks in designing and implementing in-service training plans for staff.
