Paola Viterbori is currently associate professor of Developmental and Educational psychology.
She obtained her Master degree in General and Experimental Psychology at the University of Padua (Italy), and then her PhD in Psychology Research Methods and her specialization in Clinical Psychology at the University of Genoa (Italy). Her main research interests include the structure of executive function in childhood, the role of executive function in language development and mathematical achievement, the training of executive function in childhood. She was director of a post-graduate specialization course in learning disabilities, at the University of Genoa, a founding member of a university spin-off for research and intervention in language and learning disorders and staff member of a research Unit in the field of learning and language difficulties at the Department of Education Sciences of the University of Genova. She is a consultant for the in-service training of educational staff and teachers of the Preschool Educational Services of the Municipality of Genova.
